We can also apply for a pan card at our home. It is so simple because there is not a complex system.
Now you don’t need to go at any emitra or contact any person to apply for a pan card because Income Tax Department makes it very easy for every person.
What is PAN Card :
The PAN (Permanent Account Number) card is an imperative report for directing even the most least complex of monetary exchanges like opening a reserve funds ledger, applying for a charge/Mastercard et cetera.
It is a 10-digit alphanumeric character distributed by the pay impose office to an individual, organization, Hindu Undivided Family (HUF) or some other individual.

Steps to Apply PAN Card Online :
Step 1. First of All you need to go at Income Tax Department’s official website

Now a New page will be opened as a form to fill. Here you will get two options : first to apply new pan card and second for pending pan card. Select first option with New Pan card. Now it will ask you some information.

Click on ‘Application Type’ and select the form applicable to you : form 49A for resident individuals and form 49AA for non-resident individuals (NRIs) and foreign nationals.
After that choos individual in category. You need fill it up very carefully and then click on submit.
Step 2. Now it will give you a token number and then you need to click on Fill Pending Information. Now a new page will be opened.
It will give you three options that how you want to proceed with your application.
(i) Submit digitally through e-KYC and e-sign (Paperless) (ii) Submit scanned images through e-Sign and (iii) Forward application documents physically.

Now you need to fill out all pending information as your father and mother details , aadhar number , name on aadhar , etc. Then click on Next.
Step 3. Now a new page will be opened and it will ask you some personal details such as source of income, address, contact details. Fill up all them and click on next.
Step 4. Now a new page will be opened and ask you to enter your area code, AO (assessing officer) type, range code and AO number. You can find these details in this page itself. After fill up , click on next.
Step 5. Now you need to upload a supporting govt issued id with a passport size photo. After uploaded them you need to do payment of RS 115/- at there. After that click on submit.
After some days within 07 days , you will got a mail on your email that your pan card was successfully generated and you will got your pan card within 10 days via post.
